Why attend

Calibration of instruments is an area that is often poorly understood and yet frequently highlighted in audits of laboratories and factories. It is an important area in compliance with all of the major quality standards (BRC, CLAS, EFSIS, ISO 9000 and UKAS), and an area that is easily audited.

Calibration is vital in assuring that the results that you deliver are correct and defensible should the need arise.

This course can help you put together a calibration schedule that complies with all of the relevant standards yet does not entail excessive cost or time to maintain. Guidance is given on selecting the items that require calibration and how to interpret the results.

"Many of us take measurements every day without considering the accuracy of the instrument being used. Regular, well planned calibration is essential to ensure the accuracy and quality of these measurements."
