Delegates will be introduced to the various elements of a laboratory quality system and will receive guidance on the interpretation of these in relation to microbiological, chemical and milling testing activities. The course provides delegates with practical instruction on how to implement, document and record appropriate systems in their own laboratories to enable them to prepare for laboratory accreditation.
Tutors include UKAS and CLAS assessors experienced in food and drink testing activities
"The need for laboratories to demonstrate competence through adoption of quality systems and recognised accreditation is widely established within the industry as a means of strengthening due diligence regimes. It not only satisfies client requirements for an assurance of the validity of test results but also supports other quality management systems (e.g. BRC, EFSIS). Campden BRI’s extensive experience in operating, assessing and advising on laboratory quality systems will help delegates to develop their system and work towards recognised accreditation, e.g. UKAS, CLAS and other schemes based on ISO/IEC 17025."
